Context
Pontarddulais Comprehensive School is a highly successful 11 — 16 school of approximately 800 pupils. There are close links with the local community. It has a strong history of good practice in transition. Approximately 150 primary pupils transfer to Pontardulais school each year. Most of the pupils come from the local primary schools and a few come from Carmarthen.
