The National Standards for Education Improvement Professionals in Wales have been launched by the Welsh Assembly Government and a first round of training, delivered via consortium working, has provided an introduction to the standards for many school improvement staff across swamwac. Further training events are envisaged later in 2010.

- A useful guide to Assessment, Recording and Reporting has been developed via consortium working and is available for use by all swamwac schools. It provides outline guidance and links to a range of the literature available on the web.
