To establish joint curriculum planning and join staff training for the development of research skills with the partnership
To use ICT in the development of research skills
To establish links between Y6 and Y7 pupils by sharing projects and establishing video conferences

Context
Olchfa School is the largest comprehensive school in Swansea, South Wales, with approximately 1900 pupils. It provides secondary education for GCSEs and post 16 education leading to A-level qualifications. The campus of the school is situated in Sketty Park to the far west of Sketty.
Approximately 230 pupils from the five partner primary schools transfer to Olchfa each year. This is increased by aproximately 60 pupils from the noncatchment area schools including Penyfro, Brynmill, St Davids RC and Ffynone.
