Current Activity

By September 2011 - make recommendations for the nature and extent of regional or sub-regional shared services, prioritised in terms of the maturity of collaboration as identified in the feasibility study and the national agenda for all education related services and ensuring account is taken of the opportunities arising as part of FE and HE transformation

By March 2012 - develop a report which outlines the transition process for delivering shared services across the region

This will include :

• Review of feasibility outcomes and work to collate and analyse current allocation of resources to provide a framework for greater delegation of funding and responsibilities
• Development of a framework for greater collaborative working through greater standardisation and clarity of service specifications and service level agreements and effective client / brokerage structures
