Bro Gwaun Family of Schools: A Thinking Skills Toolkit

Project overview

Compilation of a folder of strategies and materials to support thinking skills in the classroom. Head Teachers from ‘Family’ of schools attended County Inset on Thinking Skills in 2006 and agreed to look at a number of thinking strategies. They subsequently held an Inset day for all the staff of their schools, with an outside speaker who developed further the approaches to use of thinking skills. Selected colleagues then met to produce a bilingual folder detailing a number of strategies, with accompanying materials for use in the classroom.
